For nearly 25 years, I have dedicated my career to helping animals (and humans) move, heal and live as pain free as possible. Through MAR Animal Rehab, my 501(c)(3) nonprofit registered in CA/based in San Diego, I provide chiropractic and rehabilitation care to dogs and cats whose families might otherwise be unable to afford this specialized support. From seniors on fixed incomes to veterans, families with limited resources, foster homes and even residents traveling far from rural areas, we see patients every week who would not have access to this level of care without our organization.

Our mission is simple but powerful: keep pets moving, comfortable, functional and by their family’s side as long as possible. We treat animals after surgery, help prevent costly procedures, support those with mobility challenges or amputations, and—most importantly—give families hope when they feel they are out of options. Every month, we provide care for over 200 animals from across Southern California, Arizona, Tijuana and the Inland Empire.

Animal rehab is a highly specialized field and difficult to find providers offering such services. The care we provide helps pets:

– Recover from surgery
– Prevent surgery that families cannot afford
– Improve mobility so they can walk, stand and use the bathroom on their own
– Avoid unnecessary euthanasia and continue living full, happy lives
– Pain management – reduces chronic pain without heavy reliance on medications
– Faster healing – promotes tissue repair after injuries, wounds, or neurological issues.
– Stronger muscles & joints – builds stability to prevent further injury.
– Better quality of life – helps pets play, climb stairs, or enjoy walks again.
– Weight management – safe, controlled exercise to reduce strain on joints.
– Improved bowel & bladder function – by supporting mobility and core strength.
– Slows progression of disease – such as arthritis, degenerative myelopathy, or hip dysplasia.
– Keeps seniors active longer – helps geriatric pets maintain independence.
– Supports rescue & foster pets – improves adoptability by reducing pain and improving function.
– Relieves caregiver stress – families feel supported when pets regain comfort and mobility.
– Alternative to costly medications or procedures – especially when families cannot afford surgery.

We regularly receive calls and emails from people across Southern California, Arizona, and beyond who are desperate for affordable rehab services. Without our nonprofit, many of these animals would have no other options.

With the help of donors, supporters and compassionate animal lovers, we can continue to provide specialized, affordable rehabilitation care for years to come. Every contribution makes a difference, and together we can ensure that pets who might otherwise be euthanized or left without treatment can continue to receive the care they deserve.
